Distinctive features
- Not a translation but the Greek source: Michael W. Holmes built it in 2010 by starting from Westcott and Hort and comparing that against Tregelles, Robinson-Pierpont and the text behind the NIV.
- Its apparatus records differences from other printed editions rather than from manuscripts — a reading edition that shows where the modern editors disagree.
- Open licensing was a design goal: it is released under CC BY 4.0 and may be used commercially without a fee.
