Son of Naphtali
Guni was a son of Naphtali, who in turn was the son of the patriarch Jacob and his wife Bilhah. Guni was one of those who went down to Egypt with Jacob's family and became the ancestor of the Gunite clans in the tribe of Naphtali. There is also another Guni mentioned in 1 Chronicles who belonged to the tribe of Gad.
