Judas the Galilean
Rebel leader at the time of the census
Judas from Galilee led a revolt at the time when the people were enrolled in the census. The Pharisee Gamaliel referred to him and to Theudas as examples of movements that came to nothing, when he advised the Council to leave the apostles alone.
