Dishonest scales are detestable to the LORD, but an accurate weight is his delight.
When pride comes, disgrace comes with it, but wisdom is with the humble.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.
Wealth is worthless on the day of wrath, but righteousness rescues from death.
The righteousness of the blameless clears their way, but the wicked fall by their own wickedness.
The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are trapped by their own cravings.
When the wicked die, their hope perishes, and all they expected from their strength comes to nothing.
The righteous are delivered from trouble, and the wicked take their place.
With his mouth the godless ruins his neighbor, but through knowledge the righteous are delivered.
When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.
By the blessing of the upright a city is raised up, but the mouth of the wicked tears it down.
Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a person of understanding keeps silent.
A gossip goes about betraying confidences, but the trustworthy keep a matter hidden.
Without guidance a people falls, but with many counselors there is deliverance.
Whoever guarantees a stranger's debt will surely suffer, but whoever refuses to shake hands on it is secure.
A gracious woman gains honor, and ruthless men gain only riches.
A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on his own flesh.
The wicked earn deceptive wages, but whoever sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.
Genuine righteousness leads to life, but whoever pursues evil goes to his death.
The crooked in heart are detestable to the LORD, but those whose way is blameless are his delight.
Be sure of this: the evil person will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will escape.
Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without discretion.
The desire of the righteous ends only in good; the hope of the wicked ends in wrath.
One gives freely and grows all the richer; another withholds what is right and comes only to want.
A generous soul will prosper; whoever refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like green leaves.
Whoever brings ruin on his household will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever wins souls is wise.
If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner!
