Mibsam was one of Ishmael's twelve sons and thus a grandson of Abraham. He is mentioned in the genealogies in Genesis and 1 Chronicles as one of the tribal princes among the Ishmaelites. Another name, Mibsam, also appears in the genealogy of Simeon in 1 Chronicles.

God's Promise to Ishmael
