Versión predeterminada Now Haggai the prophet and Zechariah son of Iddo, the prophets, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them.
Now the prophet Haggai and Zechariah son of Iddo, prophets both, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. The inserted phrase "prophets both" is an awkward, archaic-sounding construction for oral reading. The Aramaic simply has the plural apposition "the prophets," which reads more naturally and keeps the two titles in their normal English order.
2 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak set to work and began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them. Texto original Referencias Temas propios Notas Manuscritos
