Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When any man has a discharge from his body, the discharge makes him unclean.
This is his uncleanness from the discharge: whether his body runs with the discharge or is stopped up by it, he is unclean.
Any bed the man with a discharge lies on becomes unclean, and anything he sits on becomes unclean.
Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
Whoever sits on anything the man with a discharge has sat on must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
If the man with a discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and whoever carries such things must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
Anyone whom the man with a discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
When the man with a discharge is cleansed of it, he is to count off seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in fresh running water; then he will be clean.
On the eighth day he must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest.
The priest is to offer them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the LORD because of his discharge.
Any garment or leather that has semen on it must be washed with water, and it will be unclean until evening.
When a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both of them must bathe in water, and they will be unclean until evening.
When a woman has a discharge of blood from her body, she will be in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
Anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
Whether it is the bed or anything she sits on, whoever touches it will be unclean until evening.
If a man lies with her and her impurity comes upon him, he will be unclean for seven days, and every bed he lies on becomes unclean.
When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days outside the time of her period, or when her discharge continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as the discharge lasts, just as during the days of her period.
Every bed she lies on while her discharge continues will be like the bed of her period, and anything she sits on will be unclean, as during her period.
Anyone who touches these things becomes unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be unclean until evening.
On the eighth day she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
The priest is to offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her before the LORD because of her unclean discharge.
You must keep the Israelites separate from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness by defiling my dwelling place, which is among them.
for the woman in her menstrual impurity, for anyone with a discharge, male or female, and for the man who lies with a woman who is unclean.
