Home People Hushim Hushim (also known as Shuham) was the only named son of Dan, who was the son of Jacob and Bilhah. He is regarded as the patriarch of the Hushimite clan among the Danites. Although little is written about him personally, he played an important role as the founder of one of the sub-clans in the tribe of Dan.

43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron, Heb וְאֵיל֥וֹן וְתִמְנָ֖תָה וְעֶקְרֽוֹן׃

47 But the territory of the Danites proved too small for them, so they marched up and attacked Leshem. They captured it, put it to the sword, took possession of it, and settled there. They named Leshem Dan, after their ancestor Dan.
