Turn, turn, O Shulammite; turn, turn, that we may gaze on you. Why should you gaze on the Shulammite, as at the dance of two camps?

How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O noble daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, the work of a master's hands.

Your navel is a rounded bowl—may it never lack blended wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat encircled with lilies.

Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.

Your neck is like a tower of ivory. Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon by the gate of Bath-rabbim. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, looking out toward Damascus.

Your head crowns you like Carmel, and the flowing hair of your head is like purple; a king is held captive in its tresses.

How beautiful you are, how pleasant, O love, with all your delights!

Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are its clusters.

I said, "I will climb the palm tree and take hold of its clusters." May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apples,

and your mouth like the finest wine, flowing smoothly to my beloved, stirring the lips of sleepers.

I am my beloved's, and his desire is for me.

Come, my beloved, let us go out to the countryside; let us spend the night among the villages.

Let us rise early for the vineyards and see whether the vine has budded, whether its blossoms have opened, whether the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love.

The mandrakes give off their fragrance, and at our doors is every choice fruit, new as well as old, which I have stored up for you, my beloved.
