Versión predeterminada We will most certainly do everything we said we would: we will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, just as we did—we and our fathers, our kings and our officials—in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. Then we had plenty of food, we prospered, and we saw no disaster.
We will most certainly do everything we have vowed: we will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, just as we did—we and our fathers, our kings and our officials—in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. Then we had plenty of food, we prospered, and we saw no disaster. The Hebrew here is "everything that has gone out of our mouth," i.e., what they have declared; the explicit vocabulary of vows (נדר) only enters at verse 25. Using "said we would" keeps the distinction between their declaration here and the vows named later.
18 But ever since we stopped burning incense to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by sword and famine." Texto original Referencias Temas propios Notas Manuscritos

Versión predeterminada This is what the LORD says: I am going to hand Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt over to his enemies, to those who seek his life, just as I handed Zedekiah king of Judah over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.
This is what the LORD says: I am going to hand Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt over to his enemies, to those who seek his life, just as I handed Zedekiah king of Judah over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, who sought his life." The closing quotation mark has no matching opening mark anywhere in the section, so it should be removed for consistency. Also, removing the comma before 'who sought his life' makes the clause restrictive, matching the Hebrew apposition אֹיְבוֹ וּמְבַקֵּשׁ נַפְשׁוֹ.
