On the first day of the seventh month you shall hold a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work. It shall be a day of trumpet blasts for you.
These are in addition to the new moon burnt offering with its grain offering, and the daily burnt offering with its grain offering, along with their drink offerings, according to the rule for them—a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.
On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall hold a holy assembly. You shall humble yourselves;* you shall do no work at all. [*Footnote: Literally "afflict your souls"; understood as fasting and self-denial.]
You shall present a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; they must be without blemish.
With them shall come their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: three tenths of an ephah for the bull, two tenths for the one ram,
Also one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering of atonement and the daily burnt offering with its grain offering and their drink offerings.
On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall hold a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall keep a feast to the LORD for seven days.
You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old; they must be without blemish.
With them shall come their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: three tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two tenths for each of the two rams,
On the second day: twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, without blemish,
with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, in proportion to their number, according to the rule;
On the third day: eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, without blemish,
with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, in proportion to their number, according to the rule;
also one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the daily burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.
On the fourth day: ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, without blemish,
with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, in proportion to their number, according to the rule;
On the fifth day: nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, without blemish,
with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, in proportion to their number, according to the rule;
also one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the daily burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.
