The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; no one does good.

God looks down from heaven on the children of men to see if anyone has understanding, if anyone seeks God.

All have turned away, together they have grown rotten; no one does good, not even one.

Do they know nothing, these evildoers, who devour my people as they devour bread, who never call on God?

There they were seized with terror where there was nothing to fear, for God scattered the bones of those who besieged you. You put them to shame, for God rejected them.

Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
