Praise the LORD! Blessed is the one who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his commandments.

His descendants will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, for the one who is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

It goes well with the one who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.

He will never be shaken; the righteous will be remembered forever.

He has no fear of bad news; his heart is steady, trusting in the LORD.

His heart is secure; he will not fear, until at last he looks in triumph on his foes.

He scatters gifts freely, giving to the needy; his righteousness endures forever, and his horn is lifted high in honor.

The wicked sees it and is angered; he grinds his teeth and melts away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
